Description | RocPlane (2.0) is an interactive software tool for performing planar rock slope stability analysis and design. It evaluates the probability of failure of potentially unstable planar wedges. It provides 2D and 3D views of wedges formed by the intersection of a failure plane, a slope surface, and an optional tension crack. It includes functionalities for analyzing results, generating figures and charts, and producing summaries of models and results. The report generation feature produces high-quality report ready drawings and diagrams. Features: Deterministic (safety Factor) or probabilistic (probability of failure analysis) and sensitivity analysis; Shear strength models: Mohr-Coulomb, Hoek-Brown, Generalized Hoek-Brown, Barton-Bandis, Power Curve; Plot histograms, cumulative (S-curve), or scatter plots of safety factor, wedge weight, or any statistical input parameters; Support: active or passive rock bolts; Loading: external, seismic, water pressure. Monte Carlo or Latin Hypercube simulation techniques. |
