Description	Terramodel is a modular 3D land design software package developed specifically for use in the Windows environment with full on-line help system and multiple views. Main modules: Data Capture and Reduction Modules for all popular electronic data collectors. CAD Module reads and writes AutoCAD, DWG, DXF, Microstation, DGN and Geocomp files. EAT codes (Embedded Attribute Text), enable project data and other variable text to be dynamically linked. Create an intelligent model from a ASCII points file and generate an entire map. Lines and arcs are automatically created based on the point's descriptors. COGO Module performs graphical design and survey calculations using a 3-D database with unique point descriptors for all standard geometric routines. The Field Traverse Program reduces, balances and adjusts field traverse information from the data collector. Contour Module creates a surface or subsurface by forming a Triangulated Irregular Network (TIN) from the original XYZ data points. Extract cross sections or produce ground profiles. Calculates the surface area of selected slope ranges and creates lines around a user specified slopes. Site Design Module determines volumes between two DTM surfaces, from a DTM to a known elevation, or from an existing isopach or depth layer. 3-D View Module allows you to generate, view and plot 3-D color-coded perspective views from any DTM surface. ASAP (Automated Sheet Assembly and Production) Module provides drafting automation features. Roadway Module is a route location and design package for roads, streets, multi-lane highways, airstrips, canals and earth dams. Extract cross sections anywhere along the alignment. Step forward and backwards through cross views with a single key stroke. Cross sections are updated automatically every time the DTM surface is changed.
