Description | AquiferTest Pro, designed for graphical analysis and reporting of pumping test and slug test data, offers the tools necessary to calculate an aquifer's hydraulic properties such as hydraulic conductivity, transmissivity, and storativity, considering confined aquifers, unconfined aquifers, leaky aquifers, and fractured rock aquifers conditions. Analysis results are displayed in report format, or may be exported into graphical formats for use in presentations. It also provides the tools for trends corrections, and graphical contouring water table drawdown around the pumping well. It includes 6 forward/predictive solution methods. Forward solutions, also known as predictive analyses, represent a new methodology for analyzing pumping test data. Instead of matching field data (observed draw-down data) to a given set of curves, forward solutions allow you to calculate water levels/drawdown at any given point, based on estimated transmissivity and storativity. This allows you to: Optimize planning for future pumping well locations, Develop more effective pumping rates and durations, Understand the effects of well interference, Improve the design of pumping tests. Solution Methods: Pumping Tests - confined aquifers: Theis, Cooper-Jacob (Time-Drawdown), Cooper-Jacob (Distance-Drawdown), Cooper-Jacob (Time-Distance-Drawdown), Pumping Tests - leaky confined aquifers, Hantush and Jacob. Pumping Tests - leaky confined aquifers: Neuman Moench (Partially Penetrating Well), Fractured Rock Aquifers, Moench (Fracture Flow). Slug Tests: Hvorslev, Bouwer-Rice, Cooper-Bredehoeft-Papadopulos (large diameter wells). Recovery Test: Theis (Confined). Step Tests: Theis (Confined), Cooper-Jacob (Confined). Well Loss: Hantush-Bierschenk. Other tests: Time-Drawdown, Time-Drawdown with Discharge, Specific Well Capacity. Forward Predictive Solution Methods for Pumping Tests: Theis (1937), Hantush-Jacob (1955), Stallman (Barrier), Stallman (Recharge), Gringarten (Well Skin Effects), Papadopulos (Large Diameter Wells). |
