Description | Graphic Groundwater is a graphical interface for United States Geological Survey (USGS) groundwater modeling programs. The program supports the modular three-dimensional finite-difference groundwater flow model (MODFLOW; McDonald and Harbaugh, 1988) and some features of the particle tracking program (MODPATH; Pollock, 1989). The program is designed to simplify model development and data input for groundwater modeling, to develop maps and diagrams, and to provide graphic and text files which can be processed outside of the program. It can import graphic background images for georeferencing a grid system, import text data from MODFLOW and MODPATH or other input files, export elements of the grid or data for post-processing. |
