Description | SPECEQ-UQ are two programs for the generation of response spectra digitized at equal/unequal time intervals. These programs compute response spectra from earthquake accelerograms digitized at equal (SPECEQ) or unequal (SPECUQ) time intervals. The generated response spectra represent the maximum responses of a damped single-degree-of-freedom system to the specified earthquake ground acceleration. An exact analytical solution to the governing differential equation is used in the computation for successive linear segments of the excitation. Program outputs include: absolute acceleration, pseudo-acceleration, relative velocity, pseudovelocity, and displacement spectra. |
