Description | AT RISK (@RISK) uses Monte Carlo simulation to perform risk analysis on any spreadsheet model. Users replace uncertain values in their spreadsheet with any of 38 probability distribution functions. These functions work just like any other spreadsheet function and can be used alone or as part of other expressions. A correlation matrix can be used to specify dependencies between inputs. Simulates the model using Monte Carlo or Latin Hypercube sampling. Recalculates the spreadsheet hundreds (or thousands) of times. Results include: distributions of possible outcome values; presentation-quality graphs and a detailed statistics report. Overlay graphs and multiple simulation graphs allow comparison of multiple outputs on one graph. Sensitivity Analysis determines which input distributions have the biggest impact on the outputs. The results can be displayed as aTornado chart, with longer bars at the top representing the most significant input variables. Scenario Analysis identifies combinations of inputs that lead to output target values. |
