Description	Filter drain is a set of four programs to design filter drains and underdrains to dissipate water from a stormwater retention/detention system within a given period of time. Initial design parameters are input for four typical filtration systems (side drains with gravel envelope, side drains without gravel envelope, bottom/bench drains and parallel underdrains), the program selects initial filter trench dimensions, which can be adjusted. The program then calculates the length of filter drain required to recover/discharge the specified volume of water within the required period of time. The output is presented in tabular and graphical form.
