|Aquifer test analysis
|SLUGT computes hydraulic conductivity values based on the analysis of slug tests by: Method of Cooper, Bredehoeft and Papadopulos; Method of Bouwer and Rice; and Modified Hvorslev Method. Effects due to air entrapped in the completion region of a piezometer are estimated using the method of Keller and van der Kamp as a computation option. Data input and output may be in metric units or inch-pound units. Output includes tables summarising input data and results, and data plots. In order to account for early time effects of the gravel pack on the results the user may plot reduced data or edit the input data in advance. An IGWMC prepared utility, SLUGRAF, plots the logarithm of the vertical distance between the static water level and the water level at the time of observation versus time.
