Description | PAT is an analytical model for the computation and graphical representation of pathlines and travel times of ground-water in an infinite or semi-infinite homogeneous and isotropic confined aquifer. The computed steady-state flow field can include arbitrary pumping and injection wells superimposed with a natural homogeneous regional flow which is consistent with the boundary chosen. The model can be used in an approximation for phreatic aquifers, as long as the saturated depth is large compared to the variations of the water table elevation. All input is performed via input screens; help screens are included. The program produces tabular and graphical output, including screen graphics and HPGL files of produced pathlines. |
