Description SVFlux is designed to model seepage and groundwater in soils. It is a 1D, 2D, axisymmetric and 3D finite-element program for calculating saturated and unsaturated groundwater flow including climatic coupling. CAD-based front end and automated solver. Groundwater models may be built as a series of surfaces and layers and the software can accommodate pinch-outs. Borehole or soil survey data may be used to build 3D groundwater models. Key features: 1D, 2D and 3D solutions handle any type of modeling problem. Unsaturated flow: Stable analysis of unsaturated soils. Import soils from the SoilVision database of over 6200 soils. Spatially varying soil properties. Climatic interface allows handling of crusts, wet and dry conditions, and snow. Climatic coupling brings seepage modeling to slope stability, contaminant transport, stress / deformation, air flow, and geothermal problems. Full coupling with SVHeat, SVAirFlow, or ChemFlux. Model unsaturated heave or swell by coupling with SVSolid Professional. Fully automatic mesh generation and mesh refinement. Generate 3D models from 2D cross-sections, or slice 3D models into 2D cross-sections. Extensive QAQC program. Model customization through a math scripting interface.
