| Description | 6DOFS computes the steady state response of vibrating equipment on pad or piled foundations. The model assumes that the equipment and the foundations behave as a rigid body. The flexibility of the system is only concentrated in the base support. Several popular dynamic stiffness and damping theories for both shallow and piled foundations are included; user defined matrices are also allowed. Multiple frequency loadings are allowed and the combined response is computed. Input data and output is displayed graphically. Interface and manuals are in English. |
