| Description | InStat is a program for the statistical analysis of sample populations with guidance on appropriate methods, confidence intervals and exact P values. Group comparisons: paired and unpaired t tests; Mann-Whitney and Wilcoxon non-parametric tests; ordinary and repeated measures of ANOVA followed by Bonferroni, Tukey, Student-Newman-Keuls or Dunnett post-hoc comparisons; Kruskal-Wallis or Friedman non-parametric ANOVA followed by Dunn's post-hoc test. Contingency tables: Chi-square test; Fisher's exact test; McNemar's test. Linear regression and correlations. Calculates the necessary sample size to compare two means or two proportions or to reduce the 95% confidence interval to a desired width. |
