Description	SEPL-RetWall is an add-on module to the structural design package STRUDS which can be used to design cantilever type retaining walls. It can design L-shaped or T-shaped cantilever retaining walls that can be either supported by counterfort or by buttresses. The soil loading on the retaining wall can be defined in any number of layers with different thickness and different density. Surcharged load of type inclined, vertical and horizontal can be provided. Shear key can be provided to resist sliding. Stem, heel and toe can be divided into number of parts so that moments are calculated at those parts. The retaining wall can be designed by adopting both Working State as well Limit State method. Stability checks such as overturning, sliding and maximum pressure at base are taken into considertion. Each unit of retaining wall stem, heel and toe is designed by specified method. Detailed calculation reports with checks for stability in overturning, sliding and bearing pressure. The user can overwrite the detailing through interacting dialogs. Complete design schedules, quantity reports and detail design sketches in ready to use form created. Loading and soil pressure diagrams generated. Bending moment and area of steel at various divisions of the wall produced in chart form.
