Description | ELIPGRID-PC is a program for the design and analysis of sampling grids for locating elliptical targets (e.g., contamination "hot spots"). It computes the probability of success in locating targets based on the assumed size, shape, and orientation of the targets, and on the specified grid spacing. It can also be used to compute a grid spacing from a specified success probability, compute cost information associated with specified sampling grids, determine the size of the smallest hot spot detected given a particular grid, and create graphs of the results. |
