Category | Retaining wall design |
Publisher | Tsoft |
Platform | Win2000, WinXP |
Status | Commercial |
Description | RetWall (Tsoft) performs a classical analysis of Cantilever or Gravity walls using either the Rankine or Coulomb Theories. Features include: Optional modules to calculate the bearing capacity of the bearing soil, settlement, and rotation of the wall. The allowable bearing capacity is a dynamic element changing with the wall shape and applied loads. It calculates the Ultimate & Allowable Bearing capacity in relation to the shape of the wall and the applied forces, and allows for up to seven different soil layers. Accounts for the presence of a slope in front of the wall. Calculates Modulus of Subgrade Reaction, Settlement, and base Rotation. Takes into account seismic conditions. Allows the insertion of one support (to simulate basement walls or bridge abutment) and displays the pressure, moment and shear distribution required for the steel reinforcement design. Prints to an ASCII file that may be read by any editor. Online help, User's and technical Manual and examples. |
