Description	ReWaRD is a program for retaining wall design to seven international standards: BS 8002, Eurocode 7, CIRIA 104, Hong Kong Geoguide, CP2, British Steel's Piling Handbook and Highway Agency's BD42/94. User customisable level of complexity with Wizards to guide the user. Calculates earth pressures at key locations down the retaining wall, bending moments, shear forces, prop forces, wall displacements, ground settlements, Peck's envelopes for multi-propped walls and stability against basal heave. Factors of Safety implemented: gross pressure, nett pressure, Burland and Potts, factor on strength, partial factors. The ground profile may be horizontal, rising, falling or stepped. Database of soil properties for over 250 soil types. Models drained or undrained conditions, tension cracks (dry, wet or flooded), limiting earth pressure coefficients (Coulomb, Rankine, Caquot & Kerisel, Kerisel & Absi and user defined). Water table may be modelled as hydrostatic, constant, hydrodynamic, inverted, linearly varying or standing water table. Calculates pore water pressures on both sides of the wall. Retaining wall options: sheet pile, bored pile (secant or contiguous), diaphragm, king post and user defined. Includes a database of Larssen and Frodingham sheet piles. Surcharges can be modelled as uniform, strip, line, area or point loads. Anchor design to BS 8081. Independently tested in accordance with the AGS guide on software validation. A working trial edition is available free of charge.
