| Description | Surfer converts XYZ data into Contour, 3D Wireframe, Vector, Image, Shaded Relief, Post, and Base maps. Gridding methods included: Kriging, Inverse Distance to a Power, Minimum Curvature, Modified Shepard's Method, Natural Neighbor, Nearest Neighbor, Polynomial Regression, Radial Basis Function, and Triangulation with Linear Interpolation. Data can be imported in spreadsheet or ASCII format. Data can be posted to the map or block diagram with different symbols. User defined contour levels, contour labelling, colours, smoothing. Block diagrams with stacked contours or fish net surface, perspective or orthogonal projections, variable rotation and tilt angle. An ActiveX automation compatible scripting program is included. |
