| Description | NoeSYS uses ray-tracing to colour render 3D data as volumes, slices or isosurfaces. Objects may be rendered as transparent, translucent or opaque. Slices can be taken through the model on orthogonal planes or at any angle. Volumes can be rotated to any angle and lighting parameters can be varied. Data can be cropped to display subregions or create data cut-outs. Display graph of values along a ray through the model. Slices can be exported to Transform. Input: HDF, netCDF, binary matrices, ASCII matrices, AVS and volumetric data files. Output: to colour or grey scale printer or save as HDF, BMP, TIFF, Targa or GIF files. Can create animations from user defined frames. |
