Description GeoGIS is a Geographical Information System that contains tools for managing, analysing, displaying, and mapping data concerning geology, geophysics, geotechnics, soil mechanics, hydrogeology and soil and groundwater environmental issues. It consists of a database unit and a presentation unit based on MS Access and MapInfo. It gives output to applications like Word, Excel, Surfer, Microstation and AutoCAD. It consists of the following three modules: BRegister. Borings, geology, geotechnics and geophysics. VRegister. Water supply, groundwater chemistry, analysing data from soil samples. MRegister. Geological models and visualising of data from groundwater models.
