Description | GDM stores all geological field data and allows the addition of existing documents. It can manage all types of data of interest to the geologist: boreholes, profiles, geologic and topographic contours, spot samples, regardless of their number, and regardless of their form: analysis results, logs, description texts, coordinates, measures of deviations, photos, scanned documents, imported models. Borehole logs, maps and sections are produced from the database. A mouse click on any one of these documents opens the data. Data modification is immediately displayed on the graphics. A log is displayed by designating it on a map or section with the mouse. A section is displayed by clicking on two points on a map. The models take faults and geological limits into account on maps and sections. There are 8 interpolation methods available. Import/export data with Excel, Access, dBase, Autocad. Export graphic files in various formats (WMF, BMP, DXF). |
