Description UNIBEAR is a program for designing non-embedded retaining walls, bridge abutments and piers. Includes effect of: surcharge loads, surface line loads, tieback loads, moment loads, sloping ground surface, groundwater table. Analysis methods: conventional working stress design, limit state to ASHTO Specifications and Canadian limit state codes using load factors and resistance factors, European design methods including Eurocode. The program also carries out structural analysis to determine shear and moments on the stem, the heel, and the toe. A free demo/educational version can be downloaded from the WWW.
