| Description | TextureMacro is an Excel macro that is based on the quantitative USDA soil texture class and subclass descriptions as published by the Soil Survey Division. A minor change was made to the description of the clay texture class to make it consistent with the description of the sandy clay class and to make it conform to earlier descriptions. The macro returns names for textural subclasses, as opposed to textural classes. |
