Description	ER Mapper is desktop integrated image processing software. Using the wizards it integrates imagery data into a single seamless mosaic. Data algorithms can be used to enhance imagery using real time processing without the need for temporary disk files. The Compression Wizard compresses images by 25:1. Share images and data algorithms with GIS and Microsoft Office users with the free ER Mapper imagery plug-ins for Autodesk World, AutoCAD Map, ArcView 3.1, MapInfo, and OLE applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Real time roaming and zooming on any size images in 2D and in 3D. Directly reads common image formats. Combines imagery, vectors, GIS and tabular information into one unified view of the project area. The Orthophoto Wizard, the Image Display and Mosaic Wizard, Airphoto Balancing Wizard and Compression Wizards work together to provide an integrated solution to image creation and manipulation. Image enhancement tools include classification, FFT and profiles. Creates production quality maps with PostScript output. Produces integrated views with dynamic links to GIS and other systems. Interactive contour generation, raster to vector conversion. A free evaluation version is available.
