Description | EzSlide Version 2.70 is used for the probabilistic analysis of both single and multiple rock wedges and has tools to analyze the safety factor distribution. The program requires an input of existing discontinuities and using this conducts a Monte Carlo simulation. The output is the probability distribution of the safety factor. The strength parameters can be entered through either the Coulomb-Mohr or the Barton non-linear specification. In a single simulation run, the slope strike can be varied between specified limits. This should help to find the best orientation for the slope. Similarly, the slope angle can be optimized. The single wedge version has a sensitivity analysis component.
