Description | THEISFIT is a simple program which uses a least squares procedure to obtain the "best" values for storage coefficient and transmissivity from experimental aquifer test data for an isotropic homogeneous nonleaky confined aquifer. It is based on an inverse formulation of the Theis equation solved using a least squares procedure. The program handles up to 80 observation data pairs. Menu driven and facilitates interactive data entry or input from an external disk file. Results are displayed in text form on-screen or can be sent to a printer or file. |
