Description | IPI-2D is a set of programs for VES profiling with mainly AMN+MNB array (or pole-pole or dipole-dipole) over layered media with deep and near-surface inhomogeneities. VES data visualisation and processing to prepare for 1D or 2D interpretation with IPI-1D and IE2DL packages. Cancelling of geological noise (distorting influence caused by NSI): system of visualisating both Rho_a fields and various transformations: modelling of horizontal layering, NSI and deep objects. Geological noise removal by principal component analysis (MPC) and directional filtering algorithm on the basis of median polishing. Suitable for resistivity data from multichannel instruments such as Campus MRT System (Scintrex), McOHM 21 (OYO Corp) etc. Manual includes 20 pages of text and figures. Programs copy protected. |
