Description | WELLTEST is a pump test and slug test analysis package developed by IGWMC. Includes SLUGTEST: computes hydraulic conductivity from slug test results by methods of Cooper, Bredehoeft and Papadopulos; Bouwer and Rice; Modified Hvorslev. Effects due to air entrapped in the completion region of a piezometer are estimated using the method of Keller and van der Kamp. Data input and output in metric (SI) units or inch-pound units. Output includes tables summarising input data and results, and data plots. Data entry is interactive. SLUGRAF: plots the logarithm of the vertical distance between the static water level and the water level at the time of observation versus time. PUMPTEST: computes transmissivity or hydraulic conductivity and storage coefficient or specific yield from pump test results. Solutions include the Jacob straight line method and least squares fit for drawdown versus time or drawdown versus distance. Recovery tests can be analysed to estimate conductivity after pumping is stopped. English or metric units. Includes executable code, example data files and a user's manual. |
