Description	Oasis montaj provides mapping and data processing of geological information. Main features: Database support is provided for up to 2 billion data points per channel. Data can be accessed directly through a spreadsheet window and an integrated profile display window. Run numerous filters and processes on the data. Edit maps interactively, apply dynamic linking to multiple views of imagery, maps, profiles, data and metadata, and track map creation processes. Interpolate data and produce grids using Minimum Curvature, Bi-Directional, Trended, Gradient, Tinning and Kriging. Enhance and manipulate grids using a variety of grid processing tools and grid utilities. Dynamic contouring algorithm with gradient feathering and labeling control. Create gridded maps, surface maps, posted value maps, and sub-location maps. Display multiple 3D surfaces, each with own relief and contents, and each with its own orientation in 3D space. Drape a coloured grid or image file over a topographic surface or digital elevation model (DEM) grid. A number of plug-ins and data conversion options provide connectivity with GIS or specialized modeling applications including ER Mapper and MapInfo.
