Description	GawacWin conducts the stability analysis of gabion retaining walls. The program checks a number of different situations (geometry, surcharge loads, etc). Also included is a manual that covers both the program itself, and detailed design notes covering the types of calculations used in the program, including diagrams, equations, and further references. The methods used for design checks include the Limit Equilibrium, Rankine, Meyerhof, and Bishop for overall stability analysis. The gabion specifications used in GawacWin conform to the characteristics of those produced by Maccaferri. Calculations will not be realistic if different materials are used.
