Description	ROCKPF is part of the Prokon suite of programs, but is also available seperately. It is used to calculate the factor of safety of a planar failure in rock for a range of input parameters. Tension cracks, seismic action and anchor forces can be entered. The program can be run in a deterministic or probabilistic mode. In deterministic mode a single value or best estimate is used to characterise the value of the input variable and a single value, the factor of safety, is obtained. In probabilistic mode several statistical distribution types can be applied to best reflect the range of input variables. A simulation technique is then used to generate pseudo-variables used to calculate the distribution of the factor of safety.
